Katharina Block is a social and cultural psychologist who examines how macro-level factors such as cultural stereotypes, individualism, and labor market structures shape gendered roles and careers. She received her PhD from the University of British Columbia (Canada), was a post-doc at NYU (USA) and is now an Assistant Professor at the University of Amsterdam (Netherlands).
