Sabine Hannema is a paediatric endocrinologist at Amsterdam UMC where she coordinates the DSD team and is board member of the Centre of Expertise for Gender Dysphoria. She has published more than 100 scientific papers and has co-authored (inter)national guidelines on DSD, Turner syndrome, Klinefelter syndrome and transgender care. She is vice-chair of the European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology Science Committee and chairs the I-DSD Learning and Training Committee.
